Pretty Amazing day

Last night I see a friend of mine had been let down for a lift and she was due to go to a country park near us both, now this place is amazing they have slides

slides

Yep that is me taking a photo of me going down the slide, I was of course, checking the safety of the slide for my son

It also has a farm, a great big lake and lots of things to do. Unfortuantly what we were annoyed about is that a lot of the things to do like a train ride, going on go cart things, were all things you had to pay for.

Luckly neither child seemed to mind once they saw this

Now that does look like fun. But where’s the photo of you? (I’m assuming that you are the other half of the ‘neither child’ phrase, above.) It’s a fact that so many things on offer in places such as this do cost money. I suppose the managers would justify a charge by saying it went towards the upkeep of the park. Anyway, you obviously had a fun day out.

I guess it is expensive to maintain entertainment venues but it is so frustrating to take a child to a fun place only to have to tell them that its too expensive and you only have limited funds. Of course, I’m not referring to you, I am referring to most people like myself. It’s hard not to feel ripped off.
