For those who missed this photo of my darling son, a week or so ago (keep in mind he is 3)
I have been keeping a very careful eye on him ever since, this afternoon, we walked home from nursery, we crossed over the last road, and he does his little run off “I’m going to beat you mummy”
He ran round the corner
And this is what I found. I am not going to tell him but I am impressed
* sigh of relief * Just in case, if he falls, he falls on grass. You have one energetic son there. * smile * I guess you can only pray and hope the only thing that will hurt is his little pride.

With loads of leaves, so it would be a soft landing. He also managed to get himself wedged, which I am still not sure if its a good thing, but I would go do you want to get down yet. “No mummy I am as tall as Daddy and its very high”

He’s three! It’s amazing how his curiosity and willingness to have fun is overpowering his fear. That’s one thing that I’m going to pick from this blog post. Keep blogging. I’m looking forward to read more about your son. 🙂

Thank you, he really doesn’t have fear I have caught his trying to crawl out of his window, he just loves climbing

The blood of apes, the ancestors of humans, is running in your son’s veins and so are their behaviour patterns. Haha.

LOL I have real fears, when he is older he is going to be one of those men who climb mountains using nothing but their hands and feet

That sounds exciting! Your son is going to be quite an adventurer.

I think he is, although I would prefer if I could wrap him in cotton wool

I know. As a mother you would want to keep your son away from anything that can harm him in any manner. But life is beautiful for those who are courageous because to them, life is full of opportunities. 😀

Its a balance, between knowing if something might hurt them and knowing they need to be out on there own. Hopefully I still have many many more years of keeping him in at least a little bit of cotten wool at times
