I have been nominated for the be thankful challenge by Millie over at
https://milliethom.wordpress.com/2015/10/22/be-thankful-challenge-2/#like-4878
Now for the Rules:
* Share this image (top one) in your blog post
* Write about 5 people in your life you are thankful for
* Write about 5 things in 2015 that you are thankful for
* Spread the love and challenge 5 other blogs to take part
So the 5 people I am thankful for
- My partner, I am so greatful for him, he has been there through the good and the bad, he puts up with so much, he eats my food (which when I experiment with I am surprised he is still alive) he is so handsome and I am so greatful I have him in my life each and every day
- My son, I can’t imagine my life without him, he drives me potty I mean really potty, but he is the most amazing little boy, also the most stubborn but I am so proud of him
- My family, I can’t pull them apart so they are going to have to go into a lump. My mum who comes and visits me, who is just so patient and who does so much for each of us. My Dad, he is just there, I am the most like him and I just find him so easy to talk to about my mental health. My eldest sister, she is so busy with her fifty billion jobs that its rare I speak to her (apart from over facebook about strictly) or see her, but she is always there and bless her any old clothes she always gives them to my son. And finally my other sister, who is just amazing, she is such a liberal and has always been the peacemaker, she is always there and has always supported me through the drinking, the mental health. Basically my family is amazing
- Anyone and everyone who has read my blog or liked or commenting on a post, I am so amazed that people read my stuff and it feels amazing everytime I get a notification
- My friends, I feel weird trying to seperate them as well, because they are there. C and M are most on here and have been amazing in reading my blog and sharing my posts and C is certainly the sensible side of life at times (other times she is nuts) I am really happy to have all my friends in my life
5 things in 2015 I am thankful for
- I am thankful that my mental health while still can be considered bad, is no way as bad as it was. I am functioning on some scale and feeling better and better for it
- I am thankful that people are waking up to this government, I do believe that most politicans are sucking bastards but people are finally getting that no party is great but this part is really bad
- While we still have a degree of fear in this country its nothing compared to the fact that we don’t have to worry about planes flying over and bombing our houses
- I am very thankful for the NHS especially this last year, with the amount of different drugs I have been on, the doctor’s app, the shrink apps. Without its unlikely I would be were am I at the moment
- Last and by no means least I am thankful I am still here. I know it may it sound strange but a few years ago, there is a strong possibility I may not have been and that is thankful to all of the above

It really does, and I must admit I do take most of these for granted but I would be lost without them

When we stop to think about it, we all have a lot to be thankful for. It’s good to know you’re on the way up, and not the other way around, as you said you were a few years ago. I also completely agree with your response to both (2) and (3) in ‘Things to be thankful for’, And where would this country be without our wonderful NHS? Thank you for accepting the nomination. I knew you’d do this one really well.

It was an honour to be nominated, I really enjoyed it. I felt I cheated slightly with putting my family as one person but there was no other way I could do it

Every one of these posts I’ve seen has a lot about family in it. That’s only natural – they do mean so much to us. Family as a whole is definitely how we think of them all sometime. It’s good when families stick together and help each out – and very sad when they don’t. I enjoyed your nice honest answers. 🙂
