To those parents have you ever thought that parent who is aloft is just shy,
That parent who hasn’t made eye contact suffers from social anxiety
To those parents who laugh together, have you ever noticed that parent who stands behind you wishing she could be involved
To those parents, who wonder why that parent is in clothes too small or too big did you think that maybe they couldn’t afford anything else and all their money goes on their child or children
To those parents did you ever think why that parent looked like they hadn’t slept in weeks, do you think maybe they are suffering from insomnia or they are up awake worrying how they are going to afford Christmas.
We concentrate so much on making sure our children are not treated any different maybe pay the same attention to the adults.
Apart from me. I don’t want to talk to you
This is so true. We spend so much time being busy or self involved we never look beyond ourselves or the person we are judging.

I tend to be a little on the shy side myself, but if I’m waiting in a situation where there is someone else beside me, another parent perhaps, I will usually try to smile and nod or say hi. I don’t go much beyond that, though, unless the person takes it further and starts chatting back. I don’t want to go around inflicting myself on people. 🙂

That is my excuse as well. I am not sure people can cope with the huge amount of awesomness that I am 😉

Yes, we are only protecting the rest of society from our dazzling brilliance. 🙂

As a parent who probably walks around with old clothes because everything we have is for our special needs kiddos…I can totally relate to this! Thank you!
