The thing I am looking forward to

One of the things I try and avoid is wishing my day away. I spent a lot of time when I was younger wishing I was older and now especially with my son, I try and enjoy each day. Particularly  with him growing up so fast.

However I am looking forward to a time when he likes lying in. As in he gets the whole not getting up at 5.30am because his clock says so, I am not looking forward to Christmas day at this rate

I can imagine! It’s good that you try to enjoy each day, but there are some things you just wish would happen sooner 😉

I used to so wish this when my second daughter was little.
Always wishing something else for her.
    1. I wish she would grow up fast.
    2. I wish she would outgrow the KG stage fast.
But now that she’s 16, I wish I hadn’t wished those things, ever.

  4. Is he old enough to understand play in your room until Mommy wakes up? That worked for me. The upside of the temper is you have time to get that under control.
