I don’t do new year resolutions as such, I find there is a lot of pressure. Also I think you should be able to change bits of your life when you want. Plus life has a way of throwing curve balls at you which change your life.
Having said that there are things I am going to do next year,
- Lose the weight about 2 and a half stone (35 pounds or 15.8kg)
- Get my back sorted or find out what is wrong with it and go from there
- Get fit
- Drink 2 litres of water a day by the end of the year
- Be mentally stable for 6 months and start preperations to go back to work
- Continue to increase followers on my blog
I would also love to be pregnant by the end of the year but by putting that in as one of my goals, just puts too much pressure.
Cheers to a successful and happy 2016. Wishing you every happiness on your way to achieving you goals, all of them, and especially the last one. Dawn x

It’s good to make goals and plans for yourself and go for it. Most people who make new year’s resolutions forget it doesn’t have to start on Januari 1 or make them too vague or unrealistic compared to where they are now. But I don’t think that’s what you’re doing so that’s a good start π I wish you the best of luck with your goals and hope that you can achieve them and otherwise adapt them and don’t be too hard on yourself π Splitting your goals in small steps could help achieve them.

I was going to say I will probably split them down, rather than saying I am going to lose 2 stone by the end of the year. Think I am going to lose 1 stone in six months and then keep breaking it down from there π

Good idea. With your post you gave me an idea for a blogpost as well. Hope you won’t mind π I think I’ll post it next week.

Thank you, its a horrible circle, of not being able to work because I am not stable enough, but maybe if I was working I would be stable.

But who says, you are not stable enough ? Did you decide this on your own ?

Along with bi polar, I suffer from social anxiety and when I was working I was working in pubs and clubs, in the future I would love to go back to doing that, but at the moment I still sometimes can’t leave the house without a panic attack. When you add in the downs of having bi polar, it becomes difficult to find some job, so yes I sort of decided it myself but also the shrink thinks so.
And just to say that when I say a job, it might not necessarly be in the pub industry, something working from home, with very little interaction, just something to give me a purpose.

Oh, I hope you get what is best for you. Maybe you can write a book about your experiences.
