I am sure I have talked about this before but I couldn’t find the post, so I thought I am sure I can do it again.
Everyone who has mental health issues, is at some point given a label of some type. Bi Polar, Depression, BPD, anxiety. The label doesn’t always fit however.
And that is why mental health is such a complex thing, the majority of the problem is us.
We all react differently to different things and its exactly the same thing when we are fighting our own brain chemistry.
When I think about my depression and how I dealt with it, is completely different to the way one of my friends have dealt with their’s. I can give advice, explain how I dealt with it, explain how it feels but it is personal. Because the way we deal with it has been shaped by our experiences, our friends and family and the way we continue to deal with it is the same.
I am sharing not only my journey but part of me. And that is the same with anyone who shares their mental health journey, the good and the bad.
I am not sure if any of that makes sense.
It makes lots of sense.

Thanks for sharing your journey. I think its important to talk about mental health – it affects all of us. I feel like our society demands so much of us these days and the stress adds up, often showing up in various health or mental health ways. Places like your blog share that information and make it okay to talk about. You are doing important work!!

Each one knows what he or she is facing and it is sure to be different one from the other.

The DSM usta have a dozen categories of mental illness now there are over 300. I think it has become a racket in the mental health industry and drug companies. In my case, however, I know that depression, anxiety and bi-polar are very very real.

Not sure what the DSM is? But if its the big book of mental illness, I think its great that they are finally recognising mental illnesses but more research needs to be done into it.
