I often hear Jason among others talk about networking, and yesterday just proved how important writing and going to say hello to people are.
I experienced my worse day in a while and had few people turn up. So there is my tip for the day, people will only come and see you if you write a post and you are wondering about the wordpress street.

I had a really bad day yesterday so I understand. And I think for me the key is not posting every day but on a regular basis (I aim for Mondays and Thursdays). But then I have a blog dedicated to Spain so it’s a different beast. I see you when I remember to check my reader. Hope today is a bright new day!

I blog about whatever comes into my head, so it can be different and certainly a lot of my posts don’t have the same love and thought yours do.

At times, that is the most frustrating thing about this website. Writing and publishing a post can attract the attention of the followers. Which is something that I am not good at because I don’t have any schedule in my postings. Hope that you are feeling better now 🙂

Much better now thank you, I think its not just writing its also the getting out there and saying hello. I can’t remember who’s blog I was on but the blogger said that they actually get bigger numbers on days when they don’t post because they are going and commenting, liking on lots of other bloggers post

That might be a possibility. I think that networking is a key to expand the followers base. But at the same time, being sincere in commenting others post is also important. 🙂

I agree, there is no point commenting for the sake of commenting, it needs to be in connection to the actual post

That is absolutely correct. To just comment for the sake of it is just plainly wrong.

And I do think people catch on to other people doing that. I have had a few when they just hadn’t read the post

It’s a little like that. The more you throw against the wall, the more sticks. There’s that weird daily ritual thing. I think certain people have real working lives that interferes with this. Then again post cat and dog pictures, label them cat and/or dog pictures…the likes will come! 😉. Happy Valentines Day if I could send you the answer to people and their thinking process, it would kill both of us
