I said a few days ago that a couple of friends sent me a birthday present, well another friend sent me a birthday present as well.
Lets ignore my birthday was nearly 3 weeks ago, but that is the problem with having socially anxious friends, post offices are a bitch, not only are they normally crowded but you have to talk to someone. So I am chuffed they managed it (both live in the north) Sharon is exempt cause she is the States and my email got lost.
But anyway M sent me a present
Now I was expecting something like a T Shirt, this did not look like a t shirt
Make your own T-Shirt?
Sorry the photo isn’t great, but its a cross stitch frame, which might be a bit of surprise for some people. But I do do it, although not recently, however its been in the back of my mind to star it up again and maybe sell some. Not sure if there is much call for it. But here you go
This is one of the simple ones.
What do you guys think?
Anyone done anything like this?
Glad you like it. It was worth the drive and the queue at the post office.
And I’ll be expecting a hand-made kick-ass bookmarker from you for my birthday.
Just saying.

I was over 3 weeks late. And knowing myself I bought the stuff well before your birthday. So when I say for my birthday I don’t mean April, I mean to celebrate my 40th. The latter the better, thanks. :-!

And I forgot. I love both scenes. The horoscopes are brilliant fun, and the Henry VIII and the wives is amazing. You are so talented!

Thank you, I am just not sure if I have the patients to do what other people want. Part of the enjoyment is doing ones I love

I did needlepoint years ago and really enjoyed it. It got me into a zen kind of relaxed state.

It use to do that to me as well, there is something very relaxing about it. I haven’t done it since my son was born, but I still have everything

Give it a go. I bet you would enjoy it and maybe there are some shops that would sell some of it. Everyone likes hand made stuff. I have and use my grandmothers needlepoint bedding.

I used to do counted cross stitch. They are cute in frames. You can also use fabric to make a border and back to finish a piece if you don’t want to frame it.
