For those of you who are not aware of my cat Gizmo you can find all the details here
He is doing very well, so well, that my sympathy for this cat has now gone out the window about 2 days ago.
He wants out, he wants to use the cat flap, and he will be damned if anything will stop him, so we get woken up at 5.30am to Gizmo, having worked out how to open a door and is clawing at the cat flap trying to get it open.
Or we let the dog out, Sheldon (the other cat) runs out the door and limping (a limp he only puts on when he is looking for sympathy) when I say limping, I mean a limp more pronouced than any other cat with 3 legs. I shut the door, and 5 minutes later he comes in, with a look that could kill, sits on the table, does his turning round and round, making sure he knocks off every single thing on it.
We have the vets again tomorrow, so hopefully the vet will say we can take off the cone and let him out, as long as we are out with him.
How funny! Cats are known to have annoying tendencies. 🙂

He got the cone off today, but still has to stay inside for now

Glad he got the cone off. I know he is bound to be ready to go outside. What a little trooper he is.

My sister couldn’t understand it, and demanded to know why I was spending so much money on the cat, I pointed out my son costs me more a year and puts more grey hairs on my head and she wouldn’t suggest getting rid of him 😉

Good answer. You do it because they are loved and part of the family.

Exactly, it just means we need to go without for a while
