Why Hello

I did this a few months ago and thought I would share it again for all those that are new

I thought I would do a quick introduction to myself for new followers and for people who don’t have me on their minds 24/7.

I am Trina, I live in the UK with my son, my partner, 2 cats and a mad dog. I am considered by the government to be mad, and as such I am on disability. I have been diaganoised as having bi polar type 2 with rapid cycling, depression, general anxiety disorder boarding on agraphobia, a fear of crowds, OCD . Basically mad. I enjoy being quirky.

I tend to blog in the evenings and reblog during the day, this can change, while I will talk about my mental health. I am not my diagnoises and so will chat about anything. I adore blogging. It has put me in touch with amazing people all over the world.

I like numbers, so I will chat about my stats.

Hopefully that has now caught you with me. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone better and please feel free to comment on any posts. I enjoy the conversation with adults after spending a day with a 3 year old.

  6. Hi Trina…a pleasure to meet you. I like “quirky”…it’s so much more interesting and fun than being “normal”. Years ago, the wife of a former Prime Minister of Canada came out and announced that she was bi-polar. She too was quirky and her husband, the PM, was quite flamboyant so for several years politics in Canada was exciting. That Prime Minister has since died and now his son is our Prime Minister.

    • As I read this I thought I wonder if she is talking about the father of the Prime Minister, so was thrilled that I was right when I got to the end. A bit of a dynesty going on with the Canadian Politics. Although your Prime Minister is much nicer to look at than ours, also he has come out with some great one liners. My fav being when asked about his cabinet having an equal number of women as men and his reply was its 2015. Thats the type of politician all countries need

  10. I do Wellbutrin and Lamictal since 2006. I still have crushing bouts but they are less intense and less frequent. My adult daughter is on a suicide run with drugs and not very able to shake that one off. I’ve co-owned this for 20 years. Had enough. I did survive open heart and prostate cancer, have adequate retirement income so should feel grateful at least for those things. And then I have all my delightful blog buddies…

My cousin was bipolar and schizophrenic. Scitzoeffective disorder. I think I read your intro before, that’s why I followed you. It’s important to learn. Bipolar and depression and mental illness runs in my family. Thank god it didn’t get to me. My cou I is/was very close. We were sisters. She ended her life a year ago. We miss her everyday. This illness is a muthafucker. Pardon my French.
Keep on keepin on. To you and to all of us.
