I have found that it is almost impossible to blog during the weekend when my son is here.
I can distract him for more or less an hour, which is lovely, but this is not an uninterrupted hour, there will be various mummy look at this. Mummy did you know? Question will relate to something we are both watching that I have just seen, but he will still need to tell me about it.
The reason I can write this? I am in the bedroom with the dog, having a time out (for the dog). I was sensible enough to grab the laptop before I came up.
My son and the dog get on, but he is very full on and the dog gets nervous round him, Also we have my stepson round, and I think he is nervous round the dog, so to make him more comfortable its best all round if I sit in the bedroom and my partner does parenting duty for a while.
OK, lets be honest, its mainly so I can have a break. Hopefully we will get our arses in gear after lunch and go to the park.
When I say that, I mean I shall inform my darling partner to take the kids to the park
I know what your mean here, getting time to yourself is so hard

We do pretty well, although I must say that I probably got more of a break than my partner, we are working on trying to sort that, but he can take our son out to the shops and such like where as I am very restricted, especially with the weather

The park near us has sand rather than that tarmac thing to keep the kids from hurting themselves. If its wet its horrible, also the local cats and foxes use it as a massive litter tray

That’s the thing with sand. It’s not great to use for kids.

Its not, I have been looking in to getting it changed, the whole playground needs to be redone. Most of the stuff is falling apart

Yeah that’s not great. I hope you get it sorted ☺️

I hope so, I am guessing it is going to be like getting blood out of son, because its a council run playground, so its either getting funding from them or trying to get some sort of money from the community and I am not sure if it is just me who is pissed off with coming home with a shoe full of sand

I’m sure you’re not the only one and it’s funny how councils find money for what they want, when they want it eh? 😜

Its amazing how they managed to grow that magic money tree just in time. Don’t even get me started on the DUP I had issues with them before, but now they have, technically, a bigger hand to play in government it annoys me more

I know, I can’t think about it as this is a train wreck waiting to happen.

I think my problem is, the DUP would of probably gone along with most of the Tory policies anyway, there was no need to give them the money.

Massivly so, I am worried about The Good Friday agreement, I was worried before the election as talks were suspended, so nothing had been decided. I personally think this was the worse possible outcome for the general election.

I totally agree, it’s a complete mess.
