Teaching my son to read

I love reading, I love books, don’t like books on computers, I like a proper paperback or hardback book. I like the feel, the smell. I love books.

I was obviously very excited when my son started to take an interest in reading, and when he went to school he started to learn to read.

This comedian explains it better than me, whats it like, the whole thing is funny, but the actual clip I am referring to is about 5 minutes 50 in

  1. Was teacher 33 years. It was very easy to tell which kids had parents that nurtured readintg. The rest were 2-3 years behind in basic skills.
