  2. This may actually be a scam….There’s a phishing scam out there where you get an email that looks like it’s from a bank/company you actually do business with. Of course, if it’s a scam, they’ll have a link for you to click on and ask you to provide an alternate payment method…. You may want to call the business you’re dealing with directly just to make sure it’s legit.

    Do what it takes to feel sane–hiding out, rocking, nice music. Sometimes credit/debit card epxiration dates happen, or you get spam that freaks you out or whatever, or there is indeed human error at the bank or wherever. It sounds smart that you check directly with the moneyfolks.
