There is something wrong with the world

“The husband said this evening:
You rape 100 women, you’re out in a few months. You steal jewels, you get 7 years. Let that sink in.”

Stolen from my friend M and she and her husband are right

  2. I’ve been saying in some states you can spend the rest of your life behind bars for marijuana but if you molest a child or rape someone, you spend less than 5 years. Usually less than 2 years.

    • There is something seriously wrong with justice systems all over the world. I am not sure of the answer, but some cases are just stupid

      • I completely agree! It’s so crazy to me to pass a ridiculous law like this. Why are countries so intent on ignoring the brutality of their pasts? This is why history tends to repeat its self.

      • I don’t understand why there is not done more to protect women and children. A great example here is happening at the moment in the UK. Its to do with the Jamie Bulger case, it was horrific at the time and to be honest time has not made it any less, I believe he was about 4 or 5 when he was led out of a busy shopping center by 2 10/11 year old boys, his body was found a couple of days later. These boys were caught and sentenced, and then realised when they had completed their sentance, because of how shocked the whole nation was, they were given different identies to try and get on with their lives. One has just be tried again for having indecent images of children on his computer ( a lot of them) he has received 3 years. The British public is not impressed, there are some other things such as he is going to be on licence for the rest of his life. However it is not enough

      • I hadn’t heard of that. I’m going to have to check into it. I agree. We have issues in the U.S. too. For instance, you can spend life in prison in certain states for marijuana but child molesters, rapists, spend less than 5 years in prison. Usually less than 2 years. Or our mass shooting problem which is horrible but our media never mentions things like the fact that the majority of general gun deaths in the U.S. are women who were shot by husbands, boyfriends, exes. Our the pedophile ring that runs through our country, the UK, & so many other countries & it’s the politicians & celebrities take part in. Nobody wants to even touch these issues let alone do something about it.

      • Jamie was 2 at the time not 4/5 and his death was horrific, and still turns my stomach 25 years later

      • Is Jamie the kid that was hurt by two other kids? I’m not sure if it’s the same kid you were talking about but that’s what came up & when I read it, I’ve heard the horrible story before.

      • Yes Jamie was the child killed, the story is shocking for so many reasons

      • That’s nuts. I could never understand what would possess kids so young to do something that horrible.

      • I have a theory that one of them is a physopath and the other went along with it, its the only thing I can explain it, or both could of been physcopaths

      • True. I’m a weirdo & find these things interesting. Serial killers, mass shooters, etc. No, I would never hurt anyone! I just find the psychological side of it fascinating & what makes people do these things. If I remember correctly, sociopaths lacked emotional connection growing up, especially before the age of 6, or was abused badly, neglected, all of the above. Though not all sociopaths are killers. & psychopaths are just born with their brains wired wrongly. So it makes you wonder, what were their parents like or were they just born that way? & kids are easily influenced to be “cool”. It just really baffles me, most of all, when it’s kids, especially that young. It baffles me in any case but something about such innocence doing something so tragic.
