Last night I was just dropping off to sleep before dawn (around 2am) when I heard my son move and suddenly heard his little feet come into our bedroom.
He had had a really bad dream and wanted hugs, not a problem, but as soon as he was curled up next to me, he was asleep, which left me with a slight problem. I was tired and moving might wake me up but I was also squashed in between my son and the dog and there was no movement.
Before I could make up my mind I actually fell asleep. I woke up this morning and couldn’t move, my back is killing me, god knows what I have done to my shoulder, it was actually so bad I couldn’t move for a little while.
This was such a rare occasion though, that if it happened again I would probably do exactly the same thing again.
Ohh. I know how it feels. Being a mom is the toughest thing. I have had so many similar crazy experiences. ๐ฌ

I agree being a parent is tough, it might be easier if they came with an instruction book and a massive bed, with room for everyone

First thing we did was buy a king bed for the four of us. Even now, my kids are in high school, they love to come into our room for night time reading and everyone still crawls into bed, but thankfully they don’t stay anymore. Hope a hot shower does the trick!

I am sure are it is a king size (I am trying to find the measuring tape) but it is so uncomfortable with 2 adults, one child and the dog. So I am doubting it is.
And yes hot bath worked wonders, I can move and bend ๐
