The great Lego rescue

On Saturday I went to pick my partner up from work, he had a surprise for monkey that he couldn’t get home on his bike.

lego storage

That is a £90 lego set, in a display case with lights and sounds. Which he got for free, its a benefit of having him working in a toy shop.

The problem is its stuck together, it was nailed down on certain things, but in monkey’s eyes what is the point of having lego if you can’t play with it, so I started taking it apart for him and this is when we discovered the lego is all stucked together, well fused together at least.

I have tried everything to get this damn lego apart, the only thing I have found is putting it in the washing machine, in a pillow at 60 degrees, this seems about the right temperature.

I did have a massive google search and the basic seem to be, don’t bother with trying to get it seperated. But these people on the internet don’t have a monkey with his big wide brown eyes.

That kid has got me wrapped round his little finger

You may not get the Lego’s apart, but you will prove to Monkey once again that you’re willing to do whatever it takes to make him happy. That’s huge!

How did you go? That’s a great score by him, most Lego fanatics could only dream of it. Its on the same level as people who get second hand sets cheap
