A view from the inside of going through the minefield of the British benefit system if you are disabled and the ups and downs of coping with mental illness
Nothing, truthfully. Although, I did read that Sarah Sourface is stepping down as Press Secretary. It’ll be nice not to have to see her on tv anymore. So there’s that, I suppose.
I’d seen a movie called, “Who Killed the Electric Car,” about them in the 70s. Danny DeVito of Taxi and the movie Twins fame had an electric car he loved, but the manufacturer confiscated it and all of them and junked them to keep the technology secret. Very odd story. I thought that was the beginning of electric cars. Not so. Ford has been tooting its own horn about its revolutionary internal combustion engines in the 1900s long enough. ; ) Rebecca
I started a new book, well actually, two new books! Both true stories! One is called pimped, and is by samantha owens, and one is called tiny prisoners and is by maggie hartley! Both are excellent reads!
I binge watched Cobra Kai on YouTube. The Karate Kid movies were huge when I was growing up, and I loved them. So I started watching Cobra Kai just out of curiosity and nostalgia, but I got completely sucked in because it was a lot better than I expected.

Becky Chambers, Closed and Common Orbit, sci fi! Also, an article about the first years of the automobile when three types – steam, electric, and internal combustion vehicles existed, on Long Reads, https://longreads.com/2019/06/13/we-could-have-had-electric-cars-from-the-very-beginning/

I always thought they were a new thing, as in the last 5-10 years (if that)
