My family was enjoying Sopa de Gallina which has been turned into a cheesy casserole. I am allergic to wheat and cows milk, so I had baked nachos with vegan cheese. I couldn’t even have the chili sauce because my mother-in-law had added flour to it.

It looks a bit like porridge, but that is made from oats, and its really nice

While I was an overnight guest of the county, I was given one of those trays of “slop” like you see on TV. They claimed it was beef stew, but it was wayyyyyyyy too red for that. I can’t quite say I ate it, but I tried it and decided I would hold off to see if I could get bread and water. I couldn’t.

It’s a vegetable which is cooked with very less amount of spices, that’s why I don’t like it
