So much news so little time

There has been so much I wanted to talk about, but to be honest, I am avoiding the news like the plague.

I have only really gotten glimpses of things, I know Australia is burning, the UK is leaving the EU on Friday, strikes are going on in France, there is the corena virus infecting the world and the US is ramping up for election time.

But that is about all my knowledge, I am finding it so depressing and not knowing how to make us a better planet. we all share the damn thing, so why can’t we work together to help it. Preferably before Mother Earth wipes us off it.

    Agree strongly.
In the lamest, whiniest voice, “Can’t we all just get along?”
Cos as annoying as the statement sounds, it truly is a univeral thing we should all want. Freedom to disagree but respect to not turn it into hatemongerfests. The world not burning and killing millions of animals, no mass virus outbreaks, honest clean elections…
I am a dreamer, really, but I think it sounds like a good deal.

    • I think its a brilliant idea and don’t get why we can’t just do it,if you think about it, countries exist as they are now purely because of things that happened hundreds (if not thousands) of years ago. Earth didn’t carve up the world into different countries, that was humans with war and money.

The Egyptian army has been flexing it’s ‘muscle’ near the Libyan border in recent days.

A whale was caught off the coast of Finland that was strapped with a weaponized belt that had Russian characters on it, to which Russia is claiming they do not know anything about.

The Taal Volcano Erupted in the Philippines spewing lava over hundreds of homes and displacing hundreds of thousands of people in the process. The Volcanic Eruption was believed to have been caused by the shifting of tectonic plates, which have also been vastly affecting the pacific coast of North American in recent weeks with 9 earthquakes striking the coast of Alaska, British Columbia and as far south as Northern California. Guess they call it the Pacific Ring of Fire for a reason.

North Korea has a new foreign minister who seems to hate the United States even more than the last. And, the last foreign minister has seemingly disappear from the face of the earth, so… let your mind go to whatever might have met him.

And of course, the ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States that have fallen increasingly quiet in recent days, which leads me to believe we’ll be hearing about that soon. 163 people already died when their plane was shot out of the sky, so, who knows when the US might react to that. They’re certainly not about announcing their nuclear strikes.

oh and Rwanda’n authorities have been arbitrarily detaining and beating children for playing on the streets and across the most of Africa people who suffer from Albinism are being hunted, murdered and having their bones made into necklaces for ‘good luck’.

The world is a mad, mad place.
