  1. We recycle everything we can, limit our plastic use, I use zero pesticides on our garden or in the fields, limit electricity use as possible, NEVER litter, use solar panels to power my workshop and my wife’s studio (with intent to have our entire home run by solar eventually). Still doesn’t seem like enough though.

we recycle everything. rarely do we have trash to actually throw away. compost heap in the back for veg matter, egg shells, coffee grounds. refurbish old furniture and appliances for our own use or for sale. take the electric bus service to shop downtown instead of driving. turn up the thermostat in winter, around 65 degrees F and wear sweaters. Open windows instead of using the a/c. we use wind power electricity. I use propane gas to cook, and heat water with…and even have point of service tankless water heater. That water heater, while costing a LOT at once, saved us over 900.00 this year on electric cost. I use a stove top percolator, unplug major appliances (washer dryer computers) when not in use…they still pull electricity when plugged in and turned off. I make my own wrapping paper and cards from recycled materials…..I even make rag rugs from old clothing. I quilt using old clothing and sheets or blankets.

I have a reusable tumbler that I drink water out of. I also recycle where I can and use reusable bags. I also have looked into installing solar panels😁
