In normal times, I would be walking or cycling 4 miles a day as a minimum, I never really want to, but Monkey needs to go to school, during holidays I would at least try and get out once a day to the park, which again involves walking to the park, running round after Monkey and generally showing how unfit I am.
I haven’t done anything like that in over a week now and I am starting to feel the effects now, your fitness can go down very quickly.
So I have decided to do things like a few sit ups, star jumps just to try and get my fitness back up.
First day I did 30 sit ups, 30 star jumps and tried to touch my toes 10 times. That was Tuesday, I have been in pain ever since. Shit did I hurt, just going to prove how unfit I now am, this time around I just stayed on the sofa whinging.
But that is not going to happen again, I am going to have to fight through it and probably find a more structured way of exercising.
I am going to make sure Monkey joins in as well, he is starting to go a bit crazy and the walk round the block we are allowed to do is not cutting it for him anymore.
I have seen a lot of people recommend yoga. I can’t speak from experience though.

Probably not active enough. its more for suppleness. Pilates is similar but has more movement. I’ve been using these short vidies from Jon Moyse (he owns my Gym and is an excellent trainer for all abilities:
THis one is 13 min workout (Monkey might like this too)
this is 30 min Pilates –straching and movemnt I do this in the evening these days, as relaxing):

Today I start my exercise routing and hope to gain my fitness back! I am not very fit right now! Lets be fitness buddies! 😀
