In your country who has the power over you?

To make it a bit clearer. In the UK, we have the government who make all our decisions in England, now Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, get to decide what money is spent where and how they will do the majority of things.

We also have councils, but they are funded by the government, but they can decide where that money is spend. Ultimately though in England (not the UK) the government has the most amount of power over me.

Technically, the Constitution gives various arms of the government certain powers independent of each other. The Bill of Rights lets us know what the government can’t screw around with (yeah, sure) and in my house, it’s my wife. My wife has the power over me.
