2 bodies 1 sack of motivation

My partner and myself seem to have gotten into this thing, where only one of us has the motivation, it is very much like we have a sack of motivation and only one of us can use it a day.

Last week, it was his turn, this week was mine. On Saturday I spent four hours cleaning the lounge. Now when I say cleaning, I mean I cleaned the skirting boards, the walls, under the sofa.

That lounge was spotless in time for Eurovision, my partner? He spent Saturday sleeping in bed.

On Sunday, he had both the boys, I spent the day in bed, he played games, did all the housework and entertaining of children.

I had a lovely time watching Alan Davis on UKTV and laughing my arse off.

Not sure who has got the bag tomorrow, I seem to have it most of last week, so I think its his turn, but also I want to keep up with my jobs and continue sorting the lego

Unfortunately, neither me or my partner feel motivated. Would you come clean my house if we both promise to wear masks?

  2. Sometimes it can be very difficult to find the motivation to get things done, especially with the pandemic going on. I would like to suggest creating a vision board or post it notes or some other way to remind you of your purpose or your goals. We need constant reminders of what we want in life when things get hard and we want to quit or have lazy days. If we put things off, we are putting our life on hold. Good luck this week with your motivation!

Hope you were able to keep up! Its hard when the motivation isn’t there! I loved your analogy though a sack of motivation! Very good analogy!
