Enough with the spam

In the last week I have had 1500 spam comments. I have no idea why I am suddenly being targeted, mainly about giving some type of treat to my dog.

Its really frustrating because I normally try and go through my spam to see if someone’s comments have gone in their by mistake.

Has anyone else had a massive increase?

  1. Jill Dennison over at “Filofas Word” had a similar problem with a different spam content. No idea if it stopped and what she did. She mentions it at the end of this post: https://jilldennison.com/2020/08/21/snarklets/

I’ve had an increase in the past week, although not nearly as many as you’ve had to deal with.

  4. Ugh, I hate having to clean out the spam comments. There are always so freaking many of them! And often all saying the same crap.

  5. I have received 2 spam comments in my feedback. Have not really been able to determine what they are about although they are both from same person. I use to receive a lot of spam but now I rarely if ever receive them. I think it might have to do with the recent problems that WordPress has been having. Hoping that they get it fixed soon. I have been noticing things a little off since the beginning of August. 🙂
