When I am ordering parts for the lego sets, I go through a website called BrickLink, I figured this would give me more protection that if I go through an individual website, its also the largest of its kind out there.
I can also pay via paypal, which gives me a little bit extra protection.
The problem is the waiting, I have 2 parts of 2 different places, one hasn’t accepted my order at all, but if I go with another seller, I am still obliged to the first one. The plus side to this, is I haven’t sent any money.
The other order, I have paid, but there has been nothing, so they have accepted the order and the money but haven’t shipped it yet.
I can’t do anything for a minimum of 7 days, when I then send them a message, which C is going to do for me, asking we what the fuck is going on. (My friend C is subtle and will put it into nice language and take out the swearwords for me)
Then I have to wait another week, before I can then complain to the site and start the process of getting my money back and the orders cancelled. Apparently if the seller does this three times to three different customers, they get banned, but this is a long process.
So I maybe waiting at least a month to being able to reorder these two sodding bits.
I have so little patience, I want things done and done yesterday, probably why I am finding the lego process so frustrating because its taken god knows how long to get to this stage.
In the meantime, I shall keep refreshing the page to see if anything changes.
