It was announced that Wales is going to go into a lockdown, over their half term to try and minimise the distruptions to schools, well more for the pupils than the teachers, I can image, that teachers were looking forward to a week off, got this news and then realised that they were going to have to work during the half term to get online learning up and running again.
In the meantime, the UK government and those would be the idiots in charge of England are doing a lot of spin in how this is not going to help, this is probably cause they have realised that Manchester are refusing to lockdown completely, what are the chances that areas who have very little cases are going to.
But, I think if there was a full national lockdown then most people would comply, rather than this local lockdowns, with no end in sight.
Having said that, I think most people, myself included, have come to the conclusion that 2 weeks is going to do fuck all without a proper track and trace system in place and since the government haven’t been able to do that in the last 6 months, I can’t see how it is going to be any different in 2 weeks.
At least Wales can block off the bridge to stop people coming.
We’re in complete lockdown here now! Its awful. I know its necessary but I hate it!

At least you don’t live in the States, where some people are poopooing science and spreading the pandemic willy-nilly instead of just wearing a g-d mask…

As my Southern family would say: “Bless their little hearts. Aren’t they some kind of special?”
Note: This is NOT a compliment. 🙂

I love your note at the end. I also read that in a very sarcastic tone 😉
