Mostly the classics. I also lied to teachers all the time about reading books in school. Seems silly now considering how much I read anyway.

TBF alot of the classics are boring, I got into a lot of trouble sharing my views on Romeo and Juliett. They were trying to sell it as a love story, even at 14 I didn’t buy that

Yes, when I get stuck in a room with pompous people, I enjoy asking them if they’ve read The Brothers Karamazov from Dostoïevski. Because, yes, I have. 😉
