With the pandemic sweeping the world, its good to know that the government are still doing assessments on people who receive PIP. I know this because I got a lovely letter form them, telling me I had to reapply.
The form came last week and I have completed it, with hardly any swearing in it. Although the letter I am writing to the government would make everyone blush.
Let the fun begin
Sic’em, Trina! There isn’t a Gov’t entity in the world that doesn’t need its ass kicked. BTW…I’ve got spare rooms if they throw you out. 🤣

I shall be doing a round the world tour, stopping at everyone’s house to get some food 😉

What is the point of torturing you every couple years? Do they think mental illness is like sprained ankle? Oh well, that’s mended over time, I’m ready to go on a long hike now!

Basically, I have tales from other people, one person had to go back to their doctor to get a note to say their leg hadn’t grown back, people who have dwarfism get measured to see if they have grown. People who are bedbound still get assessed, despite medical reports stating they can’t move out of bed.
I think the most frustrating thing is the fact that the person doing the assessment makes a judgement based on the half hour appointment rather than the years you have spent with your doctor

The doctor’s word should be enough! Those other examples are equally amazing.
