That is something my partner told me the other day, after yet another little to no sleep. I took Monkey to school and got home, I was shattered, but I needed to clean the bathroom.
I thought if I did that, then the anxiety might go away, we had already tried this idea on Monday and it didn’t.
The basics were all done, washing up, washing was in. It could be left for the day, but I couldn’t no matter how tired I was.
My partner has long since learnt that him offering to do it won’t work, so he didn’t. Although this time, he said just spend half an hour trying to sleep and then if that doesn’t work, do the cleaning and then you can spend some time asleep.
He checked on me 15 minutes later and I was fast asleep, at times there is only so long your body can go.
When I woke up, I did the bathroom, caught up on things and still managed to get a decent sleep the next night.
Wednesday, I have done all the cleaning, that night of sleep helped, so hopefully, I should be in a good frame of mind to sleep again tonight. Fingers crossed.
