Its not going well

We knew we were running low on electric, for those who don’t know, we are on a prepay meter, which means once a week, we have to go to a shop to pay for electric on a key and then take the key and put it into the meter.

This normally works well, our problem was this morning our key refused to work, so we had to get a code to get a new key. We had to do this before the electric ran out.

Then we hit the next snag, the place we normally get our electric doesn’t do the keys, this meant my partner had to work an extra couple of miles to the next nearest shop, to get a key

Then he had to come home put the key in our meter, wait a minute, then go back and get the electric.

When he got home, he was not a happy bunny, because as well as being cold, it had started raining.

In the meantime, while he was running around, our electric went out. I need to teach Monkey more about how much we are reliant on electric, as this was some of the questions I got.

Can I watch Youtube?

Is the X box on the internet?

Can I watch TV?

Can I have some toast?

I am really bored, why is the light in the fridge not working?

It was not a fun few hours for any of us,
