We do have a lot of stuff going on in the UK, I keep meaning to sit down and watch the Opera interview with Meghan and Harry, but if I am going to be honest, I just don’t care enough.
I have had to take a step back from the news, it wasn’t doing my head any good.
I know there is a bill going through the houses of parliament, I am not 100% sure what it is about, but what I gather is that we are not going to be able to protest anything unless the police say we can, which I feel is not the point about a protest, at some point I will look into it more, but not just yet.
Going on holiday is illegal now, unless you want to sell or buy a second home, from what I gather you don’t have to actually buy or sell one just say that is what you are doing. Or if you are member of the royal family and going for a “working” trip to Greece.
Its been a year since England first went into lockdown. Apparently the main mistakes the government made was they didn’t know what they know now. To be honest, I am not sure what they know now.
Monkey was talking to me about conspiracy theories and how one of them he heard was that Covid was all fake and how he didn’t understand, so I had to explain to him for this to be true all the world governments needed to work together to make this happen and since I doubt our government could wipe its own arse it would be very unlikely, but it did give me an opportunity to explain that not everything you hear is true and how to try and figure it out yourself what to believe and weigh up the evidence and the difference between opinion (the UK government couldn’t wipe its own arse) and fact (I have no evidence for this, but given that our Prime Minister can’t brush his own hair, its a high chance of being right)
We had a bit of a giggle with this and I am thrilled to be able to go back to my sort of teaching him little things that will hopefully serve him well, while the school actually give him proper knowledge.
