Where in the World: North Africa (continent)

To clarfiy, I was having difficulty finding a map that split Africa in 2, so I am not sure if I have done something wrong in doing it myself. But basically, this first map is the 31 countries at the top of the continent.

I knew this was going to be a tough one, I am very behind with if any country changes its name. Also my knowledge of Africa is limited. But lets give this a go

First to name the countries, I know

Morocco, Eygpt

I know those two are somewhere in the North of the continent.

Now it is just going to be name African Countries

Libya, I am sure there is a guinna, I have in my head its French sounding so Guinnia B something (I am so counting this if I am right) Algaria, Sudan. I am sure there is a South Sudan but is it South of Sudan or south. Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Ghana, Ethiopia.

How many is that now? 12, not even half and I am struggling Zimbabwa but is that near South Africa? (2 for next week maybe) Tunisa?

Lets have a look at the map and see if that helps. Cyranny gave me the central African Republic, so looking at the map, I think that is in my north. I wonder if there is a Guinnia? Gambia? Is that an island? I think I am done, but 16 thats over half, not great, lets try and place them

I missed out <takes a deep breath> Cabo Verdie, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote D’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Mali

  1. Gambia 11. Algaria 21.No beach 31. Nigeria
  2. Lots of little islands 12. Tunisa 22. Sudan
  3. Morocco 13. Good beaches? 23. Ethiopia
  4. On the edge 14. Niger 24. SouthSudan
  5. Trina Land 15. Chad 25. Central African Republic
  6. Outer Gambia 16. Square 26. less central African Republic
  7. Guinnia B 17. Rectangle 27. Ocean in driving distance
  8. Guinnia 18. Thin 28. Loads of Ocean
  9. Tiny place 19. Not as thin 29.Really tiny place
  10. Ghana 20. Egypt 30. We love the ocean

So the ones I got right are The Gambia, Morocco, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Algaria, Tunisia, Niger, Egypt, Central African Republic,

That is 9 completely correct, giving me 29% and this just goes to prove that at times I am a very lucky sod. Because I only knew 2 going into this and where they are and thats because I have been there.

Think you can do better? We are in the South of Africa next week, 24 countries in al

I’ve been to Egypt and know where Libya, Morocco and Tunis are located. Not sure about any others until you get to south Africa! And I no longer have a blog so I’ll just annoy you by answering your posts!
