Distruptions of routines

Tuesday was stressful, I had Monkey at home for the first part of the morning, but then we got his test results through and found him to be negative. So off to school he went.

But he went in late, which put me off with all my timings, I suppose I could have kept him at home, but he would have stayed at home, because if he is meant to be isolating, he is not allowed to be out and I can bet my last quid, someone would have spotted us.

If he doesn’t get some exercise, he goes loopy, we found that out the last time he had to isolate. So to school he went, but it knocked all my routines off, going in that late.

When I got home, I was exhausted, I haven’t felt like that since we first started going back in and my anxiety was in overdrive, now it seems my OCD has taken over and if I am not on track, I start getting anxious and that drives me in to exhausted mode. I managed to stay awake till I picked him up, but by the time we got home, I was about to drop.

Fortunatly, because I had it in my mind, I might get the results before 10am, I had already tried to do alot of things, so could spend the afternoon just trying to calm myself right down.

I am going to have to find a way to break these routines, slowly a bit at a time.

Routines are great but difficult to break; wishing you well and stay safe.
