Do you try and mend broken things or do you buy new?

  1. We use everything until it’s officially dead, including our vehicles. I try to fix all. I’d rather retire sooner than later.

    I try my best to fix the things that I can still make use of. I’m really big into the using what you own, owning what you use lifestyle. That being said, if something breaks, rips, tears, etc… I no longer feel bad about it. I used to beat myself up about it in my younger years. But things are things.

    Yes. I will mend until there’s more mended parts than original object.

    I might finally stop doing that with vehicles after spending more than I paid for my last car on repairs….. Didn’t work out so well and still ended up with a new car before I was done paying the loan for that one. Sooooooo…. Cars – not a good idea.

    Shoes, backpacks/purses, etc…. Yes I will fix fix fix.
