This weekend was weird, I managed to go out and about with Monkey on the Saturday, but by the evening, I was feeling wiped, I slept most of the evening, most of Sunday and then most of Monday, I started to cheer up late Monday evening and managed to eat something.
My partner has come down with a headcold, so we think I have that as well, my nose does feel like it has gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson, the rest of me feels fine, though just tired and with a painful nose.
I did manage to find my motivation today, so have done a few bits and bobs.
I have finally heard from my PIP appeal, which is later in the month. I have no idea how that is going to go. We are just about managing fine at the moment, but I have no idea if that is going to continue with all the rises we are now facing, so it would be good to get the money till at least January.
I shall let you know
Wishing you well with the cold & praying your appeal goes through 🙏!

Good luck with the PIP! I think they should be ashamed putting you through this over and over again. Would they ask someone if they still had a heart condition or diabetes? Wait, they probably would…

They do, there is no such thing as a lifetime award, so you will always have to do it again

That’s cruel. Periodic review every 5-10 years would be more humane. Not that our system is better, of course.

It is ridiculas and in the mean time a Tory politician is saying their wage of £87,000 is not enough

That’s like all our US legislators with perfect federal health coverage making decisions for the rest of us…cancel that affordable care act!

Weird, how if they don’t need it, they think no one needs it

I think that every legislator should be required to work an hourly wage job for a year, and live within the money they earned as a qualification for the job.

I completely agree, although someone has set up a gofundme account for him to help him along

No way, donate it to a food bank instead

There will be something somewhere, in the small print where it is actually going, probably a food bank

I have read the gofundme and this is right at the bottom
“Or I’ll just give the money to foodbanks because that’s where a lot of these WORKING Universal Credit claimants are going to end up, and I don’t have the empathy level of a service station pasty. “

I did think it would be unusual for it not to be going to some charity
