I still ring sometimes. I think phone calls still have a place, you just need that person to person connection sometimes. XX

For me its normally local business over the phone and big comapnies over the internet

I like to do business locally when I can. Small shops still require phone calls : ) They are not always set up online.

not sure about the context here, but when I want quicker answer/action, I call.

context is for anything, for me it depends on the time of business, with which is quicker internet or calling

I prefer the old fashioned way and ring them up. It’s more personal and safer.

Much. Plus, a lot of times, the reasons why I am calling in the first place is because I have questions that need real answers from real people.

My only problem is when I am frustrated its more acceptable to yell at the screen than the poor person on the phone

Good point, but at least you can usually get some kind of a response from the person rather than the screen. 🙂
