I sat down to plan the Christmas dinner. Its going to take round about 4 hours from start to finish, this doesnt include all the prep I am doing Christmas eve.
On the plus side if everything goes right on Christmas eve, most of it is just shoving in the oven, going back to sit down.
Thats if everything goes to plan.
Omg. I hate cooking. 4 hours doing anything of the sort is enough to make me choose to starve on a holiday. My ex always did the cooking so I do miss that. But luckily, he still makes all the holiday dinners so I still don’t have to cook. Yeah, I’d help him chop and dice and mince if he was doing it on Christmas Eve, but he never did. He always just starts early in the morning and chases everyone out of the kitchen. Works for me!
Bless you, you are infinitely more patient than I.

I enjoy cooking but even for just the 3 of us, it tests me, however I am using it as a teaching tool for Monkey and he is going to be doing most the prep tomorrow, he just doesn’t know it

Well, that is amazing. It’s nice when kids enjoy doing things their parents don’t. Makes having them so much more rewarding
