This sleep thing is not working out for me.

I honestly thought, cutting out diet coke would help my sleep, but it hasn’t seem to work and I am not sure if I need to give it more time or not.

I am still not falling asleep till at least 4.30am sometimes 6am. Getting up again 7.30 and then really trying not to fall asleep again till it at least gets dark.

I thought maybe it was because I wasn’t getting enough exercise, but I have upped it, I am walking nearly 4 miles a day, I am just not sure what else to do.

If I wasn’t so exhausted during the day, I might think I was one of those people who didn’t need that much sleep, but I am. I spend alot of the early afternoon trying not to fall asleep.

Then when I have Monkey home, its then a mission to stay awake to do dinner. After dinner, I am suddenly wide awake again.

I think I am going to get to the point of having to get some type of sleeping drugs, Monkey is now at an age, where if I am asleep, he just cracks on, so maybe a little bit of help in that area may work.

    sleeping meds may help. in the short term at least. I take zopliclone! xo
