Yesterday (Tuesday) the UK hit the hottest tempratures since ever, where I lived in got over 40 (104) for those thinking, well I live with that for months on end.
I shall remind you that the UK is not designed for extreme weather, be that heat or cold, we are designed for rain and on occassion fog and we dont really do well at those either.
Our houses are designed to keep heat in, train tracks buckle at that temp, roads melt, the whole British populaton goes what the fuck, heads down to the beach thinking thats a clever idea and then wonders why its busy.
I like the heat, but even I got to the point of thinking, thats really very hot
I also had the added benefit of Monkey being ill, I am not sure what is wrong with him, he has a sore throat, his ear hurts and he is hot. I wouldnt normally be too worried, but he has a very dry cough as well
On the hottest day of the year, I have one sick little boy, he did start feeling better though, covid test came back negative so I have my fingers crossed he picked up a bit of a bug at a birthday party on Sunday.
Hope Monkey feels much better soon

Thanks Sheree, he is certainly getting there, negative covid test, so hopefully if he is feeling 100% tomorrow, we should be back to normal

He seemed alright, but keeping him cool was a bit of a nightmare
