This is not fun

We have problems with our pipes in the kitchen, I am not sure what is going on, but every so often the pipes get blocked, meaning our sink backs up, we can deal with the sink not draining that quickly.

The problem is the washing machine, it backs up into the sink, to try and drain the water, overfills the water and the washing machine remains filled with water.

For an hour long cycle, it means you need to stand at the sink for about half an hour draining the sink with a mug and bucket.

This is fine, when I didnt have a job, but my day has been rather cut in short and we try not to run the washing machine too late. Meaning we only have a limited time to try and do it.

I tried it on Wednesday, first thing in the morning and it didnt go well and I ended up getting ready later than I wanted to.

Fortunatly, I have finally caught up with all the washing, but its meant both myself or my partner have had no evening.

The sensible solution would be to ring the landlord, but I am still waiting for them to come round when I complained back in January, so I am not holding out much hope.
