That was a really tough day

One of our cat’s Sheldon, wasn’t well, we kept an eye on him, but he went rapidly down hill Wednesday morning, we got him to the vet but he died.

We are all fairly deverstated, especially Monkey, Sheldon decided that Monkey was his slave, and would do everything he could to sit on him or just be near him.

I think I am really going to struggle with this, while trying to hold it together for Monkey. This is the first pet, that he remembers losing and I think its worse because they were so close.

My obvious first reaction, was to go and get him a kitten, but that is not a sensible idea at the moment. I am just glad I was there when Shelly died.
