The world of Pontypandy has gone crazy

For those that don’t know Pontypandy is the fictional town were fireman sam is based. This tiny village with its 16 citizens, a teacher with no school and the one shop. Has what can only be described as the best fire service ever.

I haven’t included the fire team in the 16 citizens, but this fire service now has 5 firefighters plus the captain (so 6) its own animal rescue centre with another worker (7) which also has its own helicopter. The fire station itself houses, 4 different types of fire engines or jeeps for various rescues and on top of this it has its own sea rescue centre, with 3 boats and another worker.

On top of all of this they also have a steam engine fire train.

Oh and what looks like stacks of abandoned houses.

I just thought I would let you all know, because its my son’s fav tv programme and I am sick of watching it

  1. That’s enough to make you lose your mind! My kids are older now, but they had a few as toddlers that drove me to drink, namely The Wiggles and Yo Gabba Gabba. Ugh!

  2. Fireman Sam, Wiggles, Yo Gabba Gabba… yep been there. Although, I do miss watching Wow Wow Wubzy. Sometimes when there’s nothing else on I’ll turn on Spongebob or The Backyardigans. My husband still does a great Kipper (Arnold, Pig)! I feel your pain, but check back here in 5 years to see if you’re not just yearning to watch something from the “good old days,” haha. Now, what was that silly bathtub one where all the toys come to life?

hahahahaha -thanks for that 😀 -maybe you can go around schools and businesses and do fire hazard induction trainings. Look at the business opportunity here 😉
