Gah

I had a meeting with a lady, whos name I can’t remember, this afternoon.

She is lovely and is hoping to get me into volunteering, the people I wanted to volunteer for, have a 12 week course you have to go on before you can start with them.

I would love the skills, but 12 weeks is just too intense for me, maybe in a few months that could be an option but not now.

She seemed very impressed with me and has signed me up for something else, whether I am going to be able to do it or not is a different matter, but the basic seems to be I go and see people who are lonely. Seems easy enough to ease me back in.

Although the lovely lady did talk about how we as humans need company, and I just sat there going do we? I could happily live on an island filled with dog and cats and not give a fig, but apparently all you other weirdos need the human interaction.

We shall see where we go from here.

I am with you in the interaction area. Rather cats and dogs beside the better half. He’s ok πŸ˜β€πŸ™‹πŸ

Glad there is a less intense course of action than a 12 week class! I bet there are a lot of people you could help. You can always pretend they’re a cat or dog. ; ) Rebecca

Awesome! Its something like what I do! I volunteer for friendly call which deals with people who are isolated, vulnerable or lonely and alone!
