Conversations with Monkey

Monkey: But mummy I don’t want to watch the news

Me: This is very important, which is why we are watching it

Monkey: Well what are they all doing?

Me: They are all voting on whether they accept the deal the Prime minister has put infront of them to agree to leaving the EU

Monkey: Why are we leaving?

Me: I don’t know monkey, its a massive shit storm

Monkey: Mummy you said a bad word, you need a time out and to apologise

Me: I am sorry I said a bad word, I wasn’t thinking

(I also got put in the time out)

Monkey: So why is it the bad word storm?
